Source hierarchy
Official publisher announcements, platform store pages, developer interviews, and platform-holder news posts are treated as primary sources. Reputable media coverage can support context, but it should not override official store or publisher information.
What this site will not publish
- Thin walkthrough, boss, collectible, or realm pages before those details are verified.
- Leak-based release dates, prices, pre-order bonuses, or character names.
- Speculative system requirements or performance claims.
- Pages that exist only to capture keywords without answering a player question.
Update method
When a claim changes, the relevant page should update the visible text, source links, sitemap lastmod, and news feed entry. Outdated pre-release wording should be removed rather than buried below new information.
Internal linking standard
Evergreen pages should point readers to the most relevant next answer: release status to platforms, platform questions to Steam and Xbox links, trailer details to gameplay and story pages, and uncertain claims back to this policy. That makes the site easier to scan and gives crawlers a clear map of which page owns each search intent.
If a planned page cannot include verified detail, it should remain in the roadmap rather than the sitemap. This is especially important for realm walkthroughs, boss pages, collectible routes, pre-order comparisons, and PC settings before official or hands-on sources exist.
